NYSRA Q & A Sheet:

Q: Can a referee be a member of multiple referee associations?

A: Yes, you can be a member of multiple referee associations.

You will need to choose your primary association and pay them their full dues. Your primary association should be the association that you will be receiving most of your assignments from and attend meetings at, regardless of what they charge.

The other associations typically ask for half their dues from cross-members. You will need to get an email from your chosen primary association to provide to the other association(s) saying that you are a member in good standing and have paid your dues for that year.
