ENYSRA MONTHLY MEETINGS INFORMATION
Our meetings will be held each 4th Thursday of the month, starting with 8:00 PM, at the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2718, 68 Lincoln Road, Franklin Square NY 11010 (half mile from our usual old place -- the Plattduetsche Park Restaurant). There will be NO meetings in January, July and August.

All,

I am sadden to report to you that Joe Goldberg passed away yesterday
and was buried today. Joe Goldeberg served for many years as the LISFL secretary the indoor
tournament and many other positions in the league. He was also a life member
in the LISFL, ENYSSA, ENYSSA HOF and CJSL. The indoor tournament was named after him
and will now be the Joe Goldberg Memorial tournament.

Ernie Constantine earns Referee of the Week honors for his performance during this past weekend’s U-17/18 match between Albertson SC and the New England Revolution. The 23-year-old referee from east New York has worked 20 Development Academy matches in the past two years. He also has worked USL PRO, W-League and PDL matches

OUR PRESIDENT IN ENY SOCCER HALL OF FAME

Our President, Nino Catalioti, was inducted into the Eastern New York Soccer Hall of Fame at the Annual State Dinner which was held at the Sand Castle Catering Hall, in Franklin Square, NY on Saturday, December 5th, 2009.

Everyone is so proud he was honored, especially because he is the president of the ENYSRA, representing the referees of our district.
